Aims & Scope
Discussion of directions of future research in multicore/manycore systems.
The manycore day is intended as a forum to exchange ideas, plans, approaches, hopes, and hunches about how build successful manycore systems.
All areas, including computer architecture, operating systems, languages, compilers, programming approaches, tools and environments and applications of all sorts are open for discussion. The emphasis is on future research, not on past successes. The organizers also hope that the discussions will lead to new ideas, initiatives, and collaborations among participants.

How to reach us
FZI is easy to reach by car and by public transportation. It is located in the high-technology heart of Karlsruhe near the university campus and is surrounded by small and medium enterprises engaged in information technologies.The closest airports are Frankfurt and Stuttgart. Both have a direct train connection to Karlsruhe. Strasbourg (France) is another option.

By car
- from Stuttgart/Frankfurt/Basel take Autobahn exit Karlsruhe Durlach direction Karlsruhe
- Durlacher Allee to Georg-Friedrich-Strasse (traffic lights in front of the church to your right)
- right into Georg-Friedrich-Straޥ
- Karl-Wilhelm-Platz roundabout turn right into Haid-und-Neu-Straޥ
- after 200 m the FZI is located on the right side
- You can park your car in our underground car park (called "Tiefgarage" on the map). Please use the entrance in the Rintheimer Str. 11/13 (parallel to Haid-und-Neu-Straޥ). At the entrance you can use the intercom to reach the reception or your contact by calling his number. The access to FZI is located at the end on the left.
- You can also use the public parking in front of the building at Haid-und-Neu-Str.
