What is this?
The KSN RadioStack is a protocol suite for communication in wireless sensor networks. It is currently implemented in Java for the Sun SPOTs. If you want more information including a feature list, look at the about page. The current version including the documentation is available at the download page.
Why a new radio stack?
You probably ask yourself: Why did they develop a new radio stack? There is already one for the Sun SPOTS... We'll show you at the experiments page.

08.04.2009 - Ready to Run package
To ease the use of the KSN Radio Stack we published a Ready-To-Run package in our download section and a Quickstart guide. This allows new users to quickly test and use the KSN Radio Stack.
18.03.2009 - New Version
We published a new Version of the Blue RadioStack. We had to refactor the stack in order to fullfill our new package layout.
08.01.2009 - New Version
Today we published a new version of the KSN RadioStack, it is now compatible with the Blue SunSPOT SDK. We also fixed some bugs:
- A bug in the ZIP compression layer caused an out of memory exception
- a bug in the SHP layer made broadcasts disappear
- fixed various minor problems
28.07.2008 - Release
Today the website is made public, you can download now the latest version of our KSN RadioStack.
27.07.2008 - New experiment and youtube video
We have added a new demonstration to the experiments section. This includes a video which can also be viewed here on youtube.
23.07.2008 - Finished documentation
After finishing the documentation, we put now our efforts in creating a nice website so everyone can get access to our software.
